Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist who bridges the gap between pharmaceutical expertise and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for a professional with strong regulatory knowledge and advanced Excel skills who enjoys optimizing supplier coordination, price monitoring, and compliance management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze incoming prescription orders for appropriate drug selection, strength, dosage form, and duration. Perform comprehensive Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) to identify adverse drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, or therapeutic duplications.
• Oversee or perform the accurate measuring, compounding, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals (sterile and non-sterile).
• Educate patients on medication schedules, proper storage, administration techniques, potential side effects, and managing missed doses. Recommend over-the-counter (OTC) medications and medical devices for common health issues.
• Consult directly with prescribing physicians, nurses, and specialists to optimize drug therapies, suggest cost-effective alternatives, or resolve dosage discrepancies.
• Direct the workflow of pharmacy technicians and assistants, verifying their preparation, entry, and labeling of medications.
• Maintain strict compliance with local, state, and federal drug laws. Control inventory, handle secure logging of controlled substances, and oversee the proper disposal of expired pharmaceuticals.

About you

• Must be a Licensed Pharmacist (RPh).
• 1–2 years of pharmacist experience (regulatory or supply chain experience is a plus).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Candidates must be comfortable with data organization and reporting.
• Familiarity with DPRI guidelines, FDA compliance, and GDP.
