Pharmacist

A Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring safe and effective drug use, and providing guidance to patients and healthcare staff regarding medications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret doctor prescriptions accurately
• Dispense prescribed medications to patients
• Ensure correct dosage, labeling, and instructions
• Monitor drug interactions and contraindications
• Maintain proper records of medicines and prescriptions
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and storage
• Ensure availability of stock and manage inventory
• Follow hospital/pharmacy policies and legal regulations
• Coordinate with doctors and nurses regarding patient medication plans
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
• Valid Pharmacy Council Registration (mandatory)

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of medicines and drug interactions
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ethical and responsible attitude

Experience

• Experienced candidates can apply( 1-3)Freshers can also apply.
• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
