Job Description: Pharmacist

Reporting-to: Project Coordinator

Start Date: September 2026

Responsibilities:-

• Dispense medicines to patients at the MMU and camp sites as per doctor's prescription
• Counsel patients on correct dosage, usage, and precautions for prescribed medicines
• Maintain accurate stock records of medicines and consumables, including expiry tracking
• Ensure proper storage of medicines (temperature control, light-sensitive drugs, cold chain where applicable)
• Place timely indent/requisition for medicine restocking based on consumption patterns and camp schedules
• Maintain documentation of medicines dispensed against prescriptions for audit and reporting purposes
• Identify and remove expired or damaged stock as per protocol
• Ensure adherence to drug storage and handling regulations (including any narcotic/controlled substances, if applicable)
• Maintain active pharmacist registration and provide necessary documentation for the MMU's drug license application, renewal, and compliance requirements
• Support doctor and nursing staff during camps with medicine-related queries
• Maintain confidentiality of patient prescription data
• Coordinate with doctor, admin, and program coordinator for procurement and supply chain needs

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
