Summary

We are seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join our team in Fruitland. The ideal candidate will be a confident individual with strong interpersonal skills, dedicated to delivering friendly service and ensuring optimal patient care.
Responsibilities

• Provide expert medication advice and support to patients
• Ensure accurate medication dispensing and administration
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
• Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects
• Manage inventory and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Assist in acute care settings as needed
• Support pediatric care initiatives within the pharmacy

Qualifications

• Valid pharmacist license in Canada
• Strong hospital experience with a focus on acute care
• Proficiency in patient care practices
• Familiarity with pediatrics is an asset
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Experience with medication administration processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
