Pharmacist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice to customers, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. This role requires a professional who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and knowledgeable about pharmacy operations to deliver exceptional service in a retail setting.

Duties

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently to customers.
• Provide professional guidance and counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels, order pharmaceuticals, and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and customer interactions.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Assist customers with over-the-counter products and provide health advice when appropriate.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or address medication-related inquiries.
• Stay updated on new pharmaceutical products, industry regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Valid license or certification as a registered Pharmacist.
• Proven experience working as a retail pharmacist or in a similar pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and pharmacy law.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and healthcare professionals.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
