Pharmacist

About the Position

Glenview Pharmacy is looking for a reliable, professional, and patient-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy team.

You will work alongside a fully trained and experienced pharmacy assistant, providing excellent support with day-to-day pharmacy operations.

Schedule

• Every Saturday
• One weekday per week
• Consistent weekly availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
• Perform therapeutic and clinical checks
• Provide medication counselling
• Identify and manage drug interactions and medication-related concerns
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals when required
• Provide minor ailment assessments and prescribing within scope
• Administer injections and vaccinations where authorized
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
• Follow Ontario College of Pharmacists standards and applicable legislation
• Work collaboratively with our trained pharmacy assistant
• Provide friendly and professional patient care

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
• Authorized to practise as a pharmacist in Ontario
• Professional liability insurance as required
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently
• Community pharmacy experience preferred
• Injection certification is an asset
