Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, providing patient counselling, and maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Verify prescription authenticity, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on the proper use, dosage, storage, and potential side effects of medications.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure efficient daily pharmacy operations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee the storage and handling of medicines.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and pharmacy practice requirements.
• Address patient inquiries and collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Promote medication safety and adherence through patient education.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm-B).
• Valid pharmacist license/registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
• Previous experience in a retail or community pharmacy is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription processing, and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
