AmeriWell Pharmacy is seeking a compassionate, motivated pharmacist who is excited about making a difference through personalized care. This opportunity combines clinical practice, pharmacy leadership, and collaboration with healthcare professionals—all with a weekday schedule that leaves your evenings and weekends free.

AmeriWell Pharmacy primarily supports behavioral healthcare and also serves patients’ primary care medication needs. You’ll help patients manage medications that support their mental and physical health, working with providers to promote safe treatment and continuity of care.

AmeriWell is a separate company from Murtis Taylor Human Services System. The pharmacy is located inside a Murtis Taylor Human Services System facility, creating opportunities to work closely with its care team and build strong connections with the patients you serve.

What you’ll do

• Oversee daily outpatient pharmacy operations and ensure safe, accurate, timely dispensing.
• Provide medication counseling and education for patients receiving behavioral healthcare and primary care.
• Collaborate with prescribers, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support medication adherence and help patients address barriers to obtaining or taking medications.
• Supervise, train, and support pharmacy staff and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and medication storage.
• Improve workflow, support quality assurance, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
• Help develop pharmacy policies and procedures that strengthen care and operations.

What you’ll bring

• A Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• A current, unrestricted Ohio pharmacist license.
• Previous pharmacy experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative spirit and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Experience serving behavioral health patients is welcome, but not required.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
