Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes
• Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and regulations in the field

Experience:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
• Experience in medication administration, including intravenous (IV) medications
• Familiarity with intensive care unit (ICU) practices and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling
