Pharmacist

· Check prescriptions to ensure that there are no errors and that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.

· Dispense the medicines as per the prescription. Cross check the issuing medicines with the bill concerning patient name, items name, quantity, expiry and acknowledge the bill

· Provide refills to patients as per physician’s prescriptions.

· Inform patients about medication usages including dosages and administration procedures.

· Address patient queries and concerns professionally. Resolve their issues or initiate appropriate steps such as complaint escalation to relevant departments for resolution.

· Bill the medicines dispensed and collect cash.

· Check the expiry date and batch number of the medicine and compare it with the bill entry.

· Contacting referring physician’s offices with questions over prescription.

· Maintaining inventory of the medicines dispensed.

· Keep records of patient history and all activities regarding heavy medication

· Record all pharmacy transactions and keeping cash registers up-to-date.

· Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures.

· Maintain confidentiality with respect to customers’ medical details

· To ensure proper stock keeping, labelling of High alert medication, Cold chain items, Costly items, LASA, Chemo as per policy.

· Storing the drugs under proper conditions of refrigeration and security

· Check quantity, MRP, batch number, and date of expiry of the received items from stockiest before entering into computer Inventory Management software.

· To enter stocks in pharmacy software as well as physically arranging them in the pharmacy.

· Ensure that 100% physical stock is tallied according to category (Tablets, Syrups, Injections, Fluids, Ointments, Liquids, Capsules, Powders, Drops, consumables, and Miscellaneous) twice a month. Daily rack wise verification of fast-moving items

· Ensure shift hand-over and take-over is given before leaving the work area

· provide information on expenditure on drugs

· Prepare and quality-check sterile medications, for example, intravenous medications.

· Check the items against the original bill and entering the returns in the system.

· At the time of the discharge pharmacist has to issue a clearance to the billing department

· Perform any other job assigned by the in-charge as per exigencies of work

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
