PHARMACIST

Responsible for handling controlled drugs, psychotropic drugs & dangerous drugs (DDs) according to the Malaysia Poison Act throughout the process flow in pharmacy as well as in Palliative setting.

Verifies prescriptions & dispenses controlled drugs, psychotropic drugs & DDs at outpatient & inpatient departments.

Manage the stocks & dispensing of controlled drugs, psychotropic drugs & DDs monthly.

Raises incident report against the noncompliance of Malaysia Poison Act

Respond to inquiries & provides pharmacological information to the public & patients, and interacts effectively with doctors & healthcare professional staff on a regular basis.

Generates Stock To Order every Thursday, & submit to HOD for review.

Assist HOD to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of the department.

Undertakes any other relevant duties requested by the HOD from time to time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.

Preferably with 2-3  years working experience in Pharmacy in hospital setting. However, fresh graduates are welcome to apply .

Must be applicable to apply for License A of any categories

Proficient in written & spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
