Pharmacist

Role Overview

Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. Responsibilities include

• assessing, monitoring, initiating, and modifying medication therapy

• ensuring accurate medication preparation and dispensing

• resolving medication-related issues

• supervising support staff

• educating patients and staff on drug therapy

• managing procurement, storage, and disposal of medications

. The role involves

• evaluating medication orders for appropriateness

• participating in departmental meetings and committees

• serving as a drug therapy resource

and

• promoting safety and efficiency in medication use.

  Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience; supervisory experience not required
  • Licensed as a Pharmacist and certified for Medication Therapy Services in MO
  • Preferred: Doctorate in Pharmacy with 2-5 years of experience
