Pharmacist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong background in pharmacy practice, patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including medication management, patient education, and immunization services.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Administer immunizations and manage pain management protocols as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
• Utilize aseptic techniques in the preparation of sterile products.
• Monitor patients for therapeutic outcomes and adverse reactions to medications.
• Educate patients on anatomy knowledge related to their medications and health conditions.
• Participate in acute care settings as required, providing critical care support when necessary.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy, and medication administration practices.
• Experience in acute care or critical care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with pharmacy practices.

Willing to work on Saturdays and One other day a week.

Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour
