Pharmacist

The Pharmacist will assist the Pharmacy Director in the daily operations, management of staff, evaluation, optimization and promotion of pharmacy services designed to provide value from improved patient outcomes and financial return through available revenue channels. Organizes and directs the workflow of operations within the department according to Katahdin Valley Health Center (KVHC) and Pharmacy policies, procedures, mission, goals and values. Provides direction for technician staff regarding medication management processes, including financial stewardship. Implements optimal systems of care in coordination with the Pharmacy Director, solves problems and facilitates processes required to achieve health system strategic objectives within budgetary targets. Additional responsibilities include management of assigned staff, quality measurement and process improvement, practice standards within area of responsibility and regulatory compliance.
