Key Responsibilities

1. Pharmacy Practice

• Screen and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
• Counsel customers on their medication in a way they truly understand
• Do health screenings and give honest advice on health conditions, nutrition and supplements
• Recommend what suits the customer, not what’s easiest to sell
• Keep the prescription and poison book in order and make sure the outlet complies with all KKM and Pharmacy Board requirements
• Guide and supervise the PRP and pharmacy assistants

2. Inventory & Stock Management

• Ensure physical stock matches system inventory counts.
• Monitor fast-moving items and liaise with purchasing before stockout occur.
• Track expiry dates and manage slow-moving stock proactively.
• Receive stock against Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure proper storage.

3. Outlet Growth & Team Engagement

• Support the outlet in achieving monthly sales and margin targets.
• Keep updated and guide the team on products, including new arrivals and their dosages for better care.
• Cover shifts and support overall outlet operations as needed.
• Make sure the outlet is clean and well kept at all times, including products, shelves, storefront, floors and facilities.

Requirements:

• A registered pharmacist with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
• Confident with dispensing and counselling, and comfortable leading a small team
• Organised and fine with targets, as long as they’re fair
• Speak English and Bahasa Malaysia comfortably (Mandarin is a bonus)
• Can work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Care about doing things right

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary Range: RM5,100 – RM6,900 (based on skills & experience)
• Incentives & Allowances Include: Monthly Sales Incentives, Operational Allowances, Quarterly Bonus
