Pharmacist

We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and motivated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Ace Drugs in Newburgh, New York. As an independent community pharmacy, we take pride in providing personalized patient care and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a pharmacist who is passionate about patient care, works well with others, and can help maintain efficient daily pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

● Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescriptions.

● Provide medication counseling and answer patient questions.

● Ensure compliance with New York State and federal pharmacy regulations.

● Supervise and assist pharmacy technicians and support staff.

● Maintain accurate prescription records and controlled substance documentation.

● Communicate with prescribers, insurance companies, and patients.

● Identify potential drug interactions and medication-related concerns.

● Maintain an organized and efficient pharmacy workflow.

● Administer immunizations when appropriately certified and authorized. Qualifications

● Active New York State Pharmacist License (Required).

● PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree.

● Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

● Excellent communication and customer service skills.

● Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
