Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with legal and organisational standards

• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise treatment plans
• Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, medication inventories, and patient interactions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy legislation and health & safety regulations
• Assist in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the proper storage of medicines
• Educate patients on health and wellness topics related to medication therapy
• Support the training of junior staff or interns as required

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Pharmacist within a community pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to inform safe medication administration and patient care
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to fast-paced healthcare settings
