Pharmacist

Kala Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, reliable, and patient-focused Supervising Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care while ensuring compliance with all New York State and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Supervising Pharmacist in accordance with New York State Board of Pharmacy requirements.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Counsel patients regarding medications and proper use.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Maintain accurate records and controlled substance documentation.
• Ensure a safe, efficient, and professional pharmacy environment.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, patients, and insurance providers to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Active New York Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Eligible to serve as Supervising Pharmacist in New York.
• Knowledge of retail pharmacy operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems is preferred.

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
