Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctor’s orders and established protocols
• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review patient treatment plans
• Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapies as needed in consultation with medical staff
• Maintain detailed and organized records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication inventories
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, safety procedures, and hospital policies
• Educate patients on medication management, including adherence strategies and lifestyle considerations

Skills

• Speak Cantonese and Mandarin besides English
• Experience working with pediatric patients and managing pediatric medication needs
• Excellent knowledge and experience of compounding
• Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations
• Ability to accurately administer medications and perform medication reconciliation processes
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications and documenting procedures

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
