Pharmacist

AKNA Diabetes & Endocrine Centre is looking for a qualified, experienced, sincere, and trustworthy Pharmacist to join our team.

We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and dedicated professional with good communication skills, sound knowledge of medications, and the ability to independently manage day-to-day pharmacy operations.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism, honesty, accountability, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with medical prescriptions and applicable regulations.
• Manage daily pharmacy operations efficiently and independently.
• Maintain proper inventory, stock records, and medicine availability.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure appropriate storage and handling of medications.
• Handle pharmacy billing, cash transactions, and daily sales records accurately.
• Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and medicine availability.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Provide courteous, professional, and patient-friendly service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and discipline within the pharmacy.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification: D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Valid registration with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council.
• Good knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, and pharmacy operations.
• Familiarity with pharmacy billing software and inventory management is preferred.

Salary & Working Hours

• Monthly Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 (depending on experience and suitability).
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Work Location: AKNA Diabetes & Endocrine Centre, Kesavadasapuram Junction, Thiruvananthapuram.
