Pharmacist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing patient care, and contributing to the overall health and wellness of our community. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to ensure appropriate medication therapy management.
• Provide counseling to patients on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust medication regimens as necessary in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining records in compliance with regulations.
• Administer immunizations as per state regulations and guidelines.
• Educate patients on health management topics including pain management and chronic disease management.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Participate in pharmacy residency programs as needed for training purposes.

Experience

• Active NYS pharmacist license
• Strong knowledge of physiology and pharmacology is essential.
• Proven ability in patient assessment and inventory management is highly valued.

Pay: $52.00 - $57.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
