Pharmacist

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo. The Pharmacist will dispense prescriptions accurately, counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications, and provide clinically sound advice on over-the-counter products. Daily responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for safety and interactions, maintaining proper documentation and inventory, and complying with all relevant pharmacy regulations and standards. The role also involves collaborating with pharmacy assistants, managing stock levels, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy, and supporting a friendly and professional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with a valid registration in Egypt and a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and safe dispensing practices.
• Proficiency in patient counseling, clear communication, and providing confidential, professional advice.
• Ability to manage inventory, handle prescriptions efficiently, and use pharmacy or point-of-sale systems.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team and support a welcoming environment.
• Previous community or retail pharmacy experience is preferred; experience in a family-run or small-business setting is a plus.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Cairo, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
