Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Balrampur. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, provide clear guidance on dosage, side effects, and safe use, and maintain proper records as per regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, managing inventory and stock rotation, and ensuring proper storage conditions for all medicines. The role also involves counseling patients, coordinating with prescribers for clarification when needed, and upholding strict standards of hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Relevant pharmacy qualification (e.g., D.Pharm or B.Pharm) from a recognized institution and valid registration with the appropriate pharmacy council.
• Strong knowledge of prescription medications, dosage calculations, drug interactions, and standard treatment guidelines.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and comply with regulatory and documentation requirements.
• Effective communication and patient counseling skills, with a focus on clarity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to ethical standards in dispensing and handling medicines.
• Basic computer literacy for working with digital records, billing systems, and inventory tools.
• Prior experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is an advantage but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
