Pharmacist (Full-Time)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed using Kroll pharmacy software system
• Pharmacy Assistant support is provided during store operating hours
• Maintain all records and documentations required in accordance to provincial legislation, standards of practice and policies governed by the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Provide timely professional services: Injections/Vaccinations, Minor Ailments Prescribing, Medication Reviews and Pharmaceutical Opinions
• Provide quality patient counselling on prescription and over-the-counter products
• Practice with client-oriented and professional manners. Provide timely and positive resolutions to client needs and requests from other health care providers

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensed Part A Pharmacist with Ontario College of Pharmacists in good standing
• New Graduate Pharmacists waiting on OCP licensure will be considered
• Canadian working experience as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting
• Injections and Minor Ailments Trained
• Knowledge of Kroll Pharmacy Software System
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills

Store Hours:

Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 6:30pm (No Evenings)

Saturday: 10am to 3pm

Sundays and Statutory Holidays: Closed

Expected Hours of Work: 35 to 38 hours per week

Schedule:​ Day Shifts (No Evenings) ; Weekend Shifts (As Required)

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 38.0 per week
