What they need

Take ownership of a growing pharmacy operation

Myleaf is looking for an experienced pharmacist to take the lead as Pharmacist in Charge at our Stones Corner location.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on pharmacy practice with genuine leadership responsibility. You'll oversee the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, lead a team of up to five people, and help us continuously improve the way we deliver care to our patients.

With Myleaf continuing to grow, we're looking for someone who takes pride in high professional standards, enjoys developing people and wants the opportunity to make an impact beyond the dispensary.

What you'll own

As Pharmacist in Charge, you'll take responsibility for maintaining high standards of patient care, dispensing, compliance and pharmacy operations.

You'll:

  • Lead the day-to-day pharmacy operation and support a team of up to five staff.
  • Ensure prescriptions are dispensed accurately, safely and efficiently across both patient collection and shipment workflows.
  • Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and counselling to patients.
  • Oversee medication safety, including identifying potential interactions, contraindications and adverse effects and working with healthcare professionals where required.
  • Maintain accurate patient, dispensing, inventory and operational records in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the receipt, inventory and recording of pharmacy stock and shipments.
  • Help develop and continuously improve pharmacy policies, procedures, workflows and quality standards.
  • Coach and develop pharmacy team members, including technicians and interns.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.

What we're looking for

You'll be an experienced pharmacist who combines strong clinical judgement with the confidence to lead people and take ownership of pharmacy operations.

You'll need:

  • Current pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Relevant experience working as a pharmacist in a community, hospital or comparable pharmacy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of professional, dispensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients, healthcare professionals and colleagues.
  • Confidence using pharmacy dispensing software and electronic systems.
  • A commitment to patient safety, quality and continued professional development.

We're particularly interested in people who bring:

  • Previous leadership or Pharmacist in Charge experience.
  • The ability to coach and develop others.
  • Experience working with Medical Cannabis
  • A practical, improvement-focused approach to pharmacy operations.
  • The confidence to take ownership, make sound decisions and maintain high standards in a growing environment.

Why Myleaf?

Myleaf is growing, and we're looking for people who want to grow with us.

You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of your pharmacy operation, lead and develop a team, and contribute to improving our systems and ways of working as the organisation expands.

We offer:

  • $50–$60 per hour, based on experience.
  • A full-time leadership position.
  • The opportunity to lead a team of up to five.
  • Career development and progression opportunities as Myleaf grows.

We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are committed to building an inclusive workplace.

If you're an experienced pharmacist ready to take greater ownership and help lead a growing pharmacy operation, we'd like to hear from you.
