Pharmacist Per Diem

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information, and offering excellent customer service.

Duties:

• Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient health outcomes
• Provide immunizations and other medical services
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriateness
• Oversee pharmacy technicians' work activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• State pharmacist licensure in good standing
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
• Experience in areas such as utilization review, patient care, aseptic technique, ICU, pain management, pediatrics, and medical management is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
