Pharmacist, Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Pharmacist, Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will focus on ensuring accurate, timely processing of medication orders in a specialty pharmacy environment while supporting high standards of patient care. The pharmacist will work closely with physicians, patients, and pharmacy technicians to verify orders, answer medication questions, and help maintain compliance with state and internal requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to prioritize urgent work in a remote setting.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $104,000 – $114,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders for renal medications using the pharmacy information system
• Enter and validate medication orders in the system
• Prioritize orders based on urgency
• Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and internal policies
• Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and patients
• Provide drug information and clarify medication consults
• Review orders for accuracy from pharmacy technicians

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field preferred
• Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• Potential for vendor credentialing requirements
• Experience in a specialty pharmacy setting is a plus
