Pharmacist/Pharmacist Manager

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our team at Shawlands Pharmacy.

We are looking for a driven individual who will share our ethos with a view to improve and increase the business. We are independently owned and it is key our service reflects this by responding to the individual needs of our patients and provide exceptional levels of care. The pharmacy is a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Your key focus will be on ensuring the smooth running of the pharmacy, looking after the team, and ensuring the highest level of service is delivered to patients. Shawlands Pharmacy is a fast paced environment, and so you will receive support from other pharmacists in your duties. Please note we welcome applications from all pharmacists, whether you are experienced or newly qualified.

Independent Prescriber qualification is desirable however we may consider non-qualified individials who are willing to work towards this.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of NHS pharmacy services will be advantageous. We are well placed in the community as a pillar for advice and treatment for minor conditions under the pharmacy first service and beyond.
• Proficiency and proven track-record in leading teams is desirable, however not essential as there will be support from senior management in developing this skill
• Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
• Knowledge of renumeration structure in place for pharmacies in Scotland would be of great benefit.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records.
