About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at VENTURESLINK MANAGEMENT SOLUTION INC. This is a full-time position based in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our pharmacy, assisting qualified pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing essential support to ensure patients receive safe and effective pharmaceutical care. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of patient service and medication safety within our healthcare operations.

Location: Prime Supermarket (VERSAILLES TOWN PLAZA, Daang Hari Road, Almanza Dos, Las Piñas, Metro Manila)

Rate: 20,00, monthly + Free HMO after 6 months

Key responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications according to prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
• Receive, check and accurately record incoming pharmaceutical stock and supplies
• Maintain organized and well-stocked shelves, ensuring all medications are stored in appropriate conditions and clearly labelled
• Process and manage patient prescriptions, including data entry and verification of prescription information
• Operate pharmacy equipment and systems, including cash registers and computerised dispensing systems
• Provide courteous and helpful customer service to patients, answering basic questions about medications under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical transactions and inventory levels
• Assist with stock rotation and management to ensure expiry dates are monitored and outdated medications are properly disposed of
• Support the pharmacist in ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and healthcare standards
• Perform general pharmacy housekeeping and cleanliness duties to maintain a professional environment

What we're looking for

• Preferably a College Graduate of any 2–4-year courses

• With NCIII Tesda

• Prior experience in pharmacy & retail would be advantageous

• Work experience in other customer service industries is an advantage

• Open to varying work schedules

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling medications and processing prescriptions

• Proficiency in using computerised pharmacy systems and basic computer skills

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to patient safety

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists and healthcare team members

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication handling procedures

• Prior experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is advantageous

• Willingness to undertake further training and professional development in pharmaceutical services
