Pharmacy Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will support pharmacists in daily operations, provide excellent customer service, and ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy. Duties

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Greet customers warmly and provide professional customer service
• Manage stock levels, including receiving deliveries and organising storage
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and inventory
• Answer customer queries regarding over-the-counter medications and health products
• Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety regulations
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing transactions
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is desirable but not mandatory
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality
