About the role

Join the team at Blooms The Chemist Grafton as a part-time Pharmacy Assistant. In this role, you will be an integral part of the pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacist in the day-to-day operations of the business. The position is based in Grafton, NSW 2460.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting customers with product selection and providing information on medications and health-related topics
• Accurately processing customer prescriptions and sales transactions
• Maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
• Providing administrative support to the pharmacy team
• Ensuring a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy environment
• Upholding the highest standards of customer service and professionalism

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer service role within the healthcare or retail industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and informative customer service
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A keen interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy products and services
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow established policies and procedures
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
