About the role

CERVO DRUGSTORE AND MEDICAL CLINIC is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent patient care. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will work alongside our pharmacists and medical professionals to maintain efficient pharmacy services, assist with medication dispensing, and provide outstanding customer service to our patients. Your contribution will directly impact the smooth functioning of our pharmacy and the health outcomes of those we serve.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications under direct supervision
• Receive, sort, and organise pharmaceutical stock and inventory items
• Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient information
• Conduct routine stock checks and alert pharmacists to low inventory levels
• Operate pharmacy systems and equipment to process prescriptions efficiently
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to patients and visitors
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy safety protocols and hygiene standards
• Clean and maintain the pharmacy workspace and equipment
• Handle cash and process payment transactions accurately
• Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones and scheduling appointments

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications
• Proficiency in using computer systems and pharmacy software
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists, and team members
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to learn and adhere to pharmacy regulations and protocols
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative healthcare team
