Pharmacy Assistant

PHARMACY ASSISTANT

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
• Receive and verify prescriptions from customers.
• Provide accurate information to patients about medications and over-the-counter products.
• Label and package prescriptions according to regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and transactions.
• Process payments and handle cash register transactions.
• Stock shelves, check for expired medications, and manage inventory levels.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Job requirement

• Possess a Diploma in Pharmacy / at least one year of related experience working in pharmacy
• Able to communicate effectively and work independently
• Able to work on weekends shifts and public holidays
• Computer literate
• Required language English/Malay
