Pharmacy Assistant

The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for supporting the Registered Pharmacist in the daily operations of the pharmacy. The role includes assisting with customer service, medication preparation and dispensing, inventory management, maintaining pharmacy records, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy in compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.

• Assist the Registered Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Receive, check, organize, and properly store medicines and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Assist customers with their inquiries and refer medication-related concerns to the Registered Pharmacist when necessary.
• Prepare and label medicines as instructed and under the supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Monitor medicine stocks, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper documentation of pharmacy transactions, deliveries, and inventory movements.
• Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and proper arrangement of the pharmacy.
• Assist in receiving and checking delivered medicines and supplies against invoices or delivery receipts.
• Follow company policies, pharmacy procedures, and applicable FDA and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Registered Pharmacist and other pharmacy staff in the daily operations of the branch.
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties as may be assigned by the Registered Pharmacist or management.
• Amenable to work in Juban, Sorsogon.
