Pharmacy Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Requirements :

• Prior Pharmacy Assistant Experience
• Languages Spoken : English and French
• Experience with Kroll Computer Pharmacy System

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies
• Enter patient information and medication details into electronic health records system
• Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, medical terminology standards, and medication administration procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Support administrative tasks such as billing, documentation, and appointment scheduling as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician is REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient care and confidentiality
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
• Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or related healthcare fields is a plus
