Pharmacy Assistant

Our client is a community-based pharmacy in Sutton, ON, serving 80 to 150 prescriptions daily. We are looking for a reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team and help us continue providing great service to our patients.

Key Duties

• Assist the pharmacist with prescription data entry, labeling, and packaging
• Manage inventory – receive orders, stock shelves, and check expiry dates
• Process customer transactions and handle billing
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient questions
• Prepare blister packs and maintain clean work areas
• Support daily pharmacy operations as needed

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• Monday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Typically 5 days per week, with occasional 6-day weeks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy assistant experience (preferred)
• Kroll software experience is a plus (we can train the right person)
• Strong customer service skills – patient interaction is a key part of this role
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

• Sutton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Kroll software: 2 years (required)
• pharmacy assistant: 2 years (required)
