Pharmacy Assistant

We are looking for a part time counter assistant to join our team. Full training will be given via Buttercup Training Course. . This is a permanent position.

The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the pharmacy while working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and will carry out day to day activities which include:

• Providing advice and selling over the counter medication
• Assisting in providing pharmacy services such as smoking cessation, pharmacy first and handing out made up prescriptions correctly.
• Stock management which includes ordering and organising deliveries and checking expiry dates.

Essential attributes include:

• Friendly and approachable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Computer literate and comfortable using pharmacy systems.
• A strong team player with a proactive attitude

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour
