JOB SUMMARY
The Pharmacy Assistant performs technical functions associated with drug distribution in accordance with specific provisions and standards in the Pharmacy Business and Professions Code, as well as, specific Medication Management and strictly adheres to policies and procedures. Dependent upon assignment, the incumbent is dependent on the instructions and validation of the immediate superior or senior pharmacists regarding the principal areas of drug distribution where the Pharmacy Assistant is involved including unit dosing and Pharmacy Extemporaneous compounding (e.g. paper tabbing), inventory control, and related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS in Pharmacy or TESDA NC III holder for Pharmacy Services
- With or without experience
