Pharmacy Assistant

Pharmacy assistants are responsible for handling clerical functions in the pharmacy as well as assisting the licensed pharmacist in selling and preparing medication to patients.

Job Duties:

The job duties of a pharmacy assistant includes:-

• Greet customers, answer general inquiries, and help them with over the counter (OTC) products or personal items.
• Direct any medification specific, dosage or clinical advice questions immediately to a licensed pharmacist
• Receive incoming stock, unpack deliveries, restock shelves and check expiration dates
• Attach price tags, update promotional displays, and keep the retails storefront near, clean and organize
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions accurately at the checkout counter and balance the register

Requirements:

• Min. diploma holder
• Communicates well in English. Able to speak clearly and concisely
• Customer oriented; understand the importance of Customer Service
• Prior pharmaceutical knowledge a plus point
• Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply

Offer Details:

• Permanent after 6 months probational period
• Location: Damansara Jaya
• Retail hours: 9am - 6pm / 10am - 7pm + OT (whenever necessary), 6 days a week.
• Sunday's off
• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: RM 2,000.00 - RM 2,200.00
