Pharmacy Assistant

We are currently looking for a retail pharmacy assistant to join our full service independent pharmacy located in Downsview. If you are looking to work in a rewarding and essential work environment, this is your chance to join a great team!

Job Description:

• Assist with the technical functions, including input and preparation, of dispensing prescriptions

• Assist with the technical functions of preparing blister packs

• Assist in the delivery of pharmacy operations, including inventory management

• Greet all patients in person and over the phone in a professional manner

• Provide excellent customer service

• Respond to telephone calls, faxes and record information

Position Requirements

• High energy and attention to detail
• Listening and empathy skills
• Team spirit
• Previous experience as a pharmacy assisstant
• Knowledge of Fillware considered an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
