Pharmacy Assistant (Part-time)

Key responsibilities for our Pharmacy Assistants include:

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
• Data entry of patient care information into Propel Rx
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
• General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
• Handling customer prescription pick up
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities
• Scanning and filing hard copies and prescription records
• Cleaning of work areas (including surfaces, equipment, shelves, floors, etc.)
• Recommended Software Experience:
• Microsoft Office
• Experience using Kroll is an asset, but not mandatory

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
