Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser

We are an independent community pharmacy looking for a hardworking, responsible professional to join our team. Full time or part time hours considered.

The Role & Responsibilities;

• Assisting the pharmacist as required
• Dispensing medication efficiently and accurately
• Serving on the counter in a professional manner
• Recommending suitable products based on customer healthcare requirements
• Liaising with patients, GP surgeries, nurses etc.
• Preparation of blister packs/dosette boxes (including care homes)
• Delivering services to patients (i.e. smoking cessation, ear wax removal, blood testing)
• Stock ordering and merchandising

Your Skills and Experience;

• Minimum qualification - Medicine Counter/NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services preferred
• Pharmacy experience is essential
• Responsible and reliable, with a strong sense of punctuality and timekeeping
• Highly professional face-to-face and telephone manner
• Building relationships with customers, patients and healthcare professionals
• Dispensing experience
• Customer service experience

• Hourly rate negotiable, dependent on level of pharmacy experience
