Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and provide courteous assistance at the pharmacy counter
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and inventory management
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness before dispensing medications
• Support medication administration procedures under supervision, ensuring proper documentation
• Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer their questions confidently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Record patient interactions and medication details accurately in pharmacy systems

Requirements

• Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or in a similar healthcare support role is preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations
• Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Friendly, proactive attitude with a desire to assist others effectively
• Basic understanding of pharmacy software systems is a plus
• Certification or training related to pharmacy assistance or healthcare support is advantageous

Pay: £12,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
