Role Overview

In this role, you'll be an essential part of the pharmacy's day-to-day logistics. Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to) dropping off medications to patients and care homes, picking up prescriptions from GP practices, and taking parcels and letters to the post office.

Position Information:

Status: Self-Employed

Vacancies: 2

Weekly Hours: 8–10 hours spread across 4–5 days, all shifts in the late afternoon.

Shift Pattern:

Mon 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Tues (OFF)

Wed 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Thurs 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Fri 4:00pm – 6:00pm

(10 hours per week in total)

Probation: 6 months

Rate: £13.50/hr, Mileage/Fuel: 35p/mile

What We're Looking For:

• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Your own vehicle and a clean driving licence.
• Adequate physical fitness to walk and carry light loads.
• Previous delivery experience and/or solid familiarity with the local Bodmin area.
• A willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward working in a healthcare setting is essential.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help patients.
• A demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare.
• The ability to collaborate well within a team and adapt to fast-paced settings.
