Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser or Pharmacy Technican to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practices, with a focus on patient care and medication administration. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation and packaging of medications for distribution.
• Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Conduct medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist when required.
• Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals alike.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
