Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and packaging of medications for patients, ensuring all information is clear and accurate.
• Provide support to patients by answering queries regarding medications, usage, and side effects, ensuring they receive comprehensive care.
• Maintain an organised pharmacy environment by managing inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes through effective medication management.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on pharmaceutical practices and advancements in patient care.

Experience

• 2 Years experience as a pharmacy technician is required, showcasing familiarity with medication dispensing processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy pharmacy setting.
