Pharmacy Dispenser

We are looking for a reliable, organised and customer-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly community pharmacy team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the safe and efficient running of the pharmacy while delivering excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispensing prescriptions accurately under the supervision of the pharmacist
• Assisting customers with queries in a professional and courteous manner
• Liaising with GPs, surgeries, care homes and other healthcare professionals
• Managing stock control, including checking deliveries and monitoring stock levels
• Ordering medicines and pharmacy supplies
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness within the pharmacy
• Supporting the day-to-day smooth running of the dispensary
• Ensuring all procedures comply with pharmacy regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Previous pharmacy dispensing experience preferred
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or willingness to work towards qualification)
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work accurately in a busy environment
• Friendly and professional approach to customer service
• Team player with a strong attention to detail

Pay: £13.00-£15.50 per hour
