Hours of work - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10am-5.30pm (30 min unpaid lunch break)

Duties

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, following all safety protocols and legal requirements
• Verify prescription details, including dosage, frequency, and patient information, to ensure correctness before dispensing
• Assist with medication administration processes, including labeling, packaging, and delivering medications to patients or healthcare providers
• Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance on proper usage and storage
• Maintain thorough records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
• Support inventory management by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and notifying pharmacists of low stock levels
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions or resolve any discrepancies promptly

Experience

• Prior pharmacy experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with dispensing procedures and medication management
• Experience with medication administration processes enhances your ability to support patient care effectively
• Strong background in patient care ensures compassionate communication and reliable service delivery
• Knowledge of pharmacy software systems is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail combined with organisational skills ensures accuracy in all dispensing activities

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 21.0 per week

Work Location: In person
