Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately, following all safety protocols and legal requirements

• Assist patients with medication inquiries, providing clear guidance on proper usage and potential side effects
• Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and patient interactions to ensure compliance and traceability
• Support medication administration processes in clinical settings when required, ensuring adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management
• Keep the pharmacy environment organized, clean, and stocked with essential supplies to facilitate efficient service delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser, demonstrating familiarity with pharmacy operations and medication handling
• Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care principles
• Excellent attention to detail to prevent errors in dispensing medications
• Effective communication skills to assist patients clearly and empathetically
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for pharmacy dispensers or technicians is preferred but not mandatory
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and staying current with pharmacy best practices

Pay: £12.99 per hour
