Pharmacy Dispenser

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. Prior pharmacy technician experience is desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
• Assist patients with medication queries and provide guidance on medication usage and storage
• Prepare and label medication containers ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and update patient profiles accordingly
• Support inventory management by stock checking, ordering, and organising pharmaceutical supplies
• Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care

Skills

• Previous pharmacy experience is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Pay: £12.85 per hour
